Our weekend

Hello there . Below is a selection of photos from our weekend just gone by. To start with on the Friday, Nigel was home and took Luke and i out for afternoon tea. As you can see it was delicious. Sticky date muffins with hot caramel sauce and lashings of icecream, and chocolate milkshakes. It was very yummy. Nigel then let me do all that girly stuff, like the patch work shop the little kids shop, i was allowed to get a pattern packet for a beautful floor cushion that i would like to make, i cant wait to do that one. Luke got some new slippers and a beautiful new back pack . The back pack is a monkey and you pop it on and it has a leash for the Mummy or Daddy to hold so baby can not wander off. Just terrific. And he loves it, wants it on all the time so thats good hey.
On Friday afternoon we drove to Tumit for our local youth camp, we were so kindly offered a unit up there and it was really lovely. So thank you!!!!
What lovely country side it was in and very relaxing. We did the lovely walks as you can see with the photos with Luke and Nig, and enjoyed the services when they were on. Alexander just loves camps, he was very teary when we had to leave.
Nig and i did a morning in the town itself and we were talking about what it might be like to live in such a small country town. More and more Nig and i feel the pull to be somewhere more isolated, like a wee property or something. So lovely for the kids i think.
We all really enjoyed our weekend away, and enjoyed being together. I feel such a security blanketing me at the moment and am enjoying resting in that, and i know that Nig is too. I think that it is time for our resting. The last few years have challenged us in so many ways , but through it We have felt the Lord carrying us and walking through those waters with us. I have seen the children pull closer and closer to there Jesus and watched the hand of God in there
lives. God is good and he is faithful. He is loving and protective, he is the joy the strenght and the peace that my family so often draw on. And we give him all the glory for where we stand today as a family. Well there you go, i cant help but run of on an emotional tangen when i start writing, i am thankful for so much. And i think we all have so much to be thankful for , in our house whinging is just not allowed, If whining hits these ears of mine i simply say, "Ah , i cant recogonise that voice you will have to talk properly and clearly" Oh a hard case are'nt i. But hey my kids dont whinge to much and i like it like that hey. lol God bless all.
